How do you delete an icon on your ipod touch home screen and how do u change the dock?

I have an Ipod touch and they have this new update for Jan. It has a customizable home screen.

OK first you touch and hold the button you want to change then the buttons start to jiggle then you just drag it to the spot you want good luck
